On June 3, 2012 Micheal will celebrate his 189th birthday. He was born as you may all know by reading this blog in Store Ajstrup Aalborg Denmark on June 3, 1823. So on Sunday Grandpa Micheal will celebrate his birthday. Today I am making this post on May 31, 2012. Just short of 189 years after my Grandpa Michael's birth.

ReplyDeleteI'm D'Net Layton, Marvin's granddaughter, and Kathy Evans' daughter. I was visiting with my mom last night, and she mentioned that you had put together a book of Christensen family histories. Is there a way to get a copy of the file? I'd love to get it printed for my family. Also, my aunt Nanette put together a disk of family history she had from Marvin and Maxine and their ancestors. My mom's copy of the disk won't work, and I'm looking to get another copy of it. If you do happen to have it, could you make a copy for me? I'll send you a disk and self addressed stamped return envelope to make it easier for you.
Also, I'm putting together a picture family tree wall in my house. Starts with the kids, and goes back 6 generations. It is coming together quite nicely. My picture of Rebecca Christensen is when she was quite young, and I'd love to have one of her a bit older. Would it be possible to e-mail me the wedding portrait of Einer and Rebecca? I've never seen that one before, and I just love it.
Thanks so much for your website. It is so much fun to read, and my little ones are even interested in the pictures, stories, and wanting to know how everyone is related. I will get together some updated information and pictures for you in the next little bit. Always fun to see the family grow.
